A cable car takes you up to the Schlossberg. The lively Karlsteg bridge connects the park to the Old Town.

Arriving from Karlsruhe: - Take the motorway exit Freiburg-Nord, and continue in the direction of the city centre ("Stadmitte") and the "Victory Monument" ("Siegesdenkmal") Arriving from Basel: - Take the motorway exit Freiburg-Mitte, and continue in the direction of the city centre via Werder-Rotteck-Ring and Leopoldring, until you reach Karlstraße Arriving from Titisee-Neustadt: - Approach via the Schloßberg-Ring until you reach Karlstraße From the main railway station: - Take tram number 1, 2 or 5 as far as stop "Bertoldsbrunnen", and from here change to line 2 until you reach the station "Siegesdenkmal" Private parking is available at the hotel at a cost of EUR 8 per day, while public parking spaces are available at a cost of EUR 7.50 per day. A multi-storey car park can be found approximately 100 metres away.
